Very good beginner's snorkeling kit
I purchased this snorkeling set for my first shot at snorkeling. This was a very good basic set, good for a beginner. The one problem with the snorkel was that if it went under water, it would fill up with water. Some more advanced snorkels have a small valve in the top, which prevents this from happening. One important thing to note is the sizing. The sizes provided on the website are for MEN only. For WOMEN, the sizes are different. I have copied the following chart from the actual box, so this can be used while purchasing. All of these are US sizes.SMALL : M 5-6.5 W 6.5-8MEDIUM : M 6.5-8 W 8-9.5MED-LARGE : M 8-9.5 W 9.5-11LARGE : M 9.5-11.5 W 11-13X-LARGE : M 11.5-13 W 13-14.5In case your shoe size falls on the borderline of two sizes, get the larger one, its more comfortable.Overall, a very good buy and a surely recommended product.Update 1/12/2011 - It appears that the sizing chart on my box does not match the sizing chart on...

Basic good design
I bought this set to use for my summer vacation. I'm from the Caribbean..so the beach is just 10 minute drive. It's basically a good kit for the price but the snorkle is not a "dry snorkle". Instead it has slits to the side to flush out excess water if you either go below, or a wave forced water in. There's a valve in the base of the snorkle that lets clearing the tube real easy however. I spear fish for hours sometimes so I personally rather a true dry snorkle. Blowing out water from a snorkle for a few hours tends to hurt the mouth when the day is done. However for recreational purposes its ok.As for the glass its easily adjustable and I found even my kids(6&8) can wear it and get a tight fit. That's not always true with diving glasses. It also lets a lot of light in and I can see from the corner of my eyes. This helps ease the mind, as I have been watching "shark week" lol.

I'm a scuba diver and bought this U.S.Divers Diva 1 Lx / Island Dry Lx/ Trek / Travel Bag for my wife who loves to snorkel. This is a great package for traveling, the fins are shorties but truly effective and comfortable; the mask seals great around the face, has easy adjustable straps and the lens offers a great view. Oh man the snorkel is worth its weight in gold! It's a dry snorkel which means you can dive down under to grab sea shells or whatever and come up without any water in the snorkel. The snorkel breaths super easy too and if you did manage to get water in the tube, there is purge valve - so with an easy puff of breath, you can clear the water quick & easily. I paid $10 extra for the bright hot pink ($79 total /w free shipping). I'd say it was worth it for a couple of reasons; 1) I could easily look out across the water and quickly spot the hot pink, 2) she looks great in the hot pink and also received lots of cool kudos.Two weeks later, I bought the man's version in...

No complaints!
I bought these for a trip to Hawaii. My husband got the yellow color.First of all, we were so glad to have our own equipment. If you're going to snorkel for more than a couple of days it's worth having your own.There were a lot of snorkeling equipment for sale/hire everywhere in Kauai, some even by US Divers. But these were better quality than a lot of the items I saw. Plus the fins are really good and you don't see them everywhere. They were as good as larger fins but more compact. Good to snorkel around coral.I bought the pink one, which is more expensive than the black , which is not marketed as women's but pretty much the same thing. This one is called "diva" and is supposedly for women but this is pretty much just marketing. The fins are the same as the smallest of the black set. Worked great for us!
We purchased two sets of these for our upcoming trips to the Bahamas and also to Costa Rica. We live in Clearwater, FL., so we decided to test out the equipment earlier today.I'm back online with a review to tell you that we were amazed how well these masks, snorkel, fin sets actually work. We took it out to a local beach and put everything to the test for 4-5 hours today.What we needed was a complete mask/fin/snorkel set to take with us on our trips and use locally. Just got back from HAWAI'I - good product
Fin Sizing -I wear a US size 9.5-10. I got the largest fin size and it fits well. The sides (width) are a little snug initially, but once you get into them they are fine.For reference, I placed my foot on a piece of paper and outlined it. then I measured the widest point on the paper and that was 9.5cm. So if you're around that then this should be fine. I would say if you're any wider than 12cm, then do not get these as the fins will likely be too tight on the sides. The length is fine because you can adjust the length with the backing strap so i can see how someone who is size 13 can fit these, but the width is where most people are having their problems. The fins should be measured in width and not shoe size. If you have really wide feet these fins will be tight/borderline uncomfortable. does the job
this product has done the job for me. just took a trip to the bahamas and did some snorkeling. carrying case makes it easy for packing - not too bulky or heavy. fins and snorkel work great, never sucked any water down my throat after diving like my old snorkel! only complaint is that the hard frame of the goggles can be uncomfortable on my forehead. have to readjust and take off every few minutes to prevent too much discomfort. other goggles i've had in the past did not have that problem. overall they worked just fine.

Why didn't I buy this BEFORE Mexico?
The truth is that I've done A LOT of snorkeling in some very nice places over the years including with Whale Sharks off Cancun only last month but always using inferior equipment. Finally I got sick of water finding its way into my mask and I ordered this from Amazon, using my blackberry, while on the beach in Puerto Aventuras. It was waiting for me when I got home.I took it out in the murky waters off Long Island last week and my only question is "Where's this thing been all my life?" NO leaking at all. Virtually no water coming down the snorkel when I dive. It's a water tight but very comfortable fit. Just do yourself a favor and get it BEFORE your next adventure.

Snorkeling
The Body Glove Reliance Purge Mask and Immerse Dry Snorkel set was great. I used it in the ocean and there were no leaks in the mask. The snorkel worked wonderful no water came in when I went under and as soon as I came up the purge valve opened so I could breath. I would recommend this item.

Nice package!
I enjoyed snorkeling with this setup. I have a big head and large nose but the mask fit comfortably. I also have wide feet and the fins were comfortable as well. I felt the lenses on the mask were smaller than I expected, however the visibility didn't seem restricted. I ordered the black set and one thing I would point out is that the fins are all black, in the photo the listing provides they have a pattern on them, not a big deal to me but worth noting.

Very nice quality snokel gear
We bought these for a trip to the Caribbean so we would not have to rent equipment. Glad we did since this is very nice quality gear. Comes in travel bag that is ventilated so equipment can dry out even when stowed in the bag. Mask is nice 1-piece glass (better viewing under water), snorkel is terrific and does not let in water if you dive below water level, and fins are compact for travel, but work very well. Highly recommend purchasing this equipment rather than renting junk if you go on vacation!

Great Snorkel Set!
My wife and I recently bought this set for a trip to Turcks and Caicos. We thought the fins worked fine even though they were small. We had always used rental gear before and it is worth every penny to have a set like this. We had no problems with the mask or snorkel and snorkeled every day for a week. I where a mens shoe size 10 and bought the size large in the fins and they fit great. My wife wears a womens size 8.5 or 9 and she got medium fins and they were the right size for her.The fins were comfortable but because we planned on doing a lot of snorkeling we also bought "Speedo Neo Fin Socks" from Amazon (both size medium) which fit great helped make sure we didn't get any blisters.

Dry
I used this set on an 8 day trip to Aruba and it was excellent. The snorkel was the best part. I like to dive down and the snorkel doesn't let any water in so you don't have to blow out any water when you come back up. Also in rough water, you don't have to worry about choking when the waves go over your snorkel. The small fins are also a lot easier to use than the full sized ones and they propel you plenty fast.
