High Quality, Exellent Value
I am impressed with the quality and value of this product. My wife and I had a great time snorkeling in Mexico. I look forward to using it again. I should really get some fins to go with it. The mask fit me well. I was skeptical about the dry snorkel at first, but it worked great. It doesn't come with any carrying case or mesh bag.

Pivot Dry Works
We bought the set for a trip to Hawaii. The mask is fine, but the review is about the snorkel. The Pivot Dry is worth any extra money. The pivoting head really works! While snorkeling in the rough water of Hawaii, we watched person after person lift their heads to blow the water out. Ultimately, they all gave up and went for shore. These snorkels work exactly as advertised - no water when submerged or splashed.I will say it's a little strange when you try to inhale and the pivot is closed, but you get the idea quickly (breathing water would have been the other option).The snorkeling was so much more enjoyable - much more time with my face in the water enjoying the sights.

Great product for the price
Mask is clear and doesn't fog up if you don't breath through your nose. I use mask drops before each dive as well. The mask fit my face, my wife's face, and another friend's face without leaking.The snorkel is pretty cool. I have always just used the old fashioned kind in the past, but I was impressed at how dry it stayed. The top seals well when diving. I would occasionally get a little bit down to the bottom, but it would collect below the breathing hole, so I never got any unexpected mouthfuls. I generally clear when surfacing anyway with a quick blast of air, and it was easy to clear through the bottom valve. My only gripe with it is that occasionally if you just pop your head up to see where you are, the top can close on you, but if you just spit out the mouth piece, or put your face back down, you can continue breathing without trouble. That only happened once or twice, and did not really detract from the experience.Overall, a great product for...

Worked great for us!
We purchased two sets of these for our upcoming trips to the Bahamas and also to Costa Rica. We live in Clearwater, FL., so we decided to test out the equipment earlier today.I'm back online with a review to tell you that we were amazed how well these masks, snorkel, fin sets actually work. We took it out to a local beach and put everything to the test for 4-5 hours today.What we needed was a complete mask/fin/snorkel set to take with us on our trips and use locally. We only occasionally snorkel, but when we do we want decent equipment. Just got back from HAWAI'I - good product
Fin Sizing -I wear a US size 9.5-10. I got the largest fin size and it fits well. The sides (width) are a little snug initially, but once you get into them they are fine.For reference, I placed my foot on a piece of paper and outlined it. then I measured the widest point on the paper and that was 9.5cm. So if you're around that then this should be fine. I would say if you're any wider than 12cm, then do not get these as the fins will likely be too tight on the sides. The length is fine because you can adjust the length with the backing strap so i can see how someone who is size 13 can fit these, but the width is where most people are having their problems. The fins should be measured in width and not shoe size. If you have really wide feet these fins will be tight/borderline uncomfortable. Very good beginner's snorkeling kit
I purchased this snorkeling set for my first shot at snorkeling. This was a very good basic set, good for a beginner. The one problem with the snorkel was that if it went under water, it would fill up with water. Some more advanced snorkels have a small valve in the top, which prevents this from happening. One important thing to note is the sizing. The sizes provided on the website are for MEN only. For WOMEN, the sizes are different. I have copied the following chart from the actual box, so this can be used while purchasing. Basic good design
I bought this set to use for my summer vacation. I'm from the Caribbean..so the beach is just 10 minute drive. It's basically a good kit for the price but the snorkle is not a "dry snorkle". Instead it has slits to the side to flush out excess water if you either go below, or a wave forced water in. There's a valve in the base of the snorkle that lets clearing the tube real easy however. I spear fish for hours sometimes so I personally rather a true dry snorkle. Blowing out water from a snorkle for a few hours tends to hurt the mouth when the day is done. However for recreational purposes its ok.As for the glass its easily adjustable and I found even my kids(6&8) can wear it and get a tight fit. That's not always true with diving glasses. It also lets a lot of light in and I can see from the corner of my eyes. This helps ease the mind, as I have been watching "shark week" lol.

Decent starter kit
Cons: The ribbed goggle snaps didn't hold in place on one side after 2-3 uses. If you have a small head, it could be an issue as a tight fit is needed for snorkling.Pros: For the price, this is a good set. The flippers are large and truely help in ocean swimming. The snorkle design helps keep splashes from getting into the breathing tube.

SWIMMER SNORKEL vs FREESTYLE version
SUMMARY: BUY this Swimmer Snorkel (a.k.a. Center Mount) and DO NOT buy the FREESTYLE version!I first bought the FINIS Swimmer Snorkel (I will now refer to this as the Center Mount)from Amazon. I left it at the YMCA on accident and it disappeared. I accidently bought the FREESTYLE version as a replacement. Here is what I learned...1. You DO NOT Need a nose plug with either style, contrary to other reviews.2. The Center Mount has a purge valve in which any excess water falls below the breathing apparatus and is pushed out on the exhale. The Freestyle DOES NOT have a purge valve.3. Both snorkels work best with your head straight down. You shouldn't be turning your head with your body when you swim anyways, so this is nothing new.4. NEITHER worked well with flips or diving under water. Clearing these snorkels with a strong exhale didn't seem to work comfortably or5. BEGINNER swimmer...you can focus on technique without having to worry...

Great for training. Buy a nose clip.
I bought this to help me speed up my swim training by allowing me to work my muscles more without running out of breath. It works great, and is really letting my get in better workouts. I have only two minor complaints. It should come with a nose clip, as it is nearly impossible to inhale without getting at least a little water up your nose, I suggest buying one with the snorkel. Also, the plastic of the snorkel becomes pretty soft if exposed to heat, which can cause the snorkel to bend. Make sure you don't leave the snorkel in your car on any warm day, or it will almost definitely be twisted or curved, and is very difficult to get back to its original shape.

Stays dry
This snorkel lives up to its "dry" title. I had waves washing over me repeatedly and no water came down the snorkel. The pivot valve at the top really works.The upper valve allows you to close the top easily while swimming. Any water that might get in collects in the area below the mouthpiece. Closing the upper valve allows you to blow the trapped water out through the blow valve at the bottom.The clip attaches securely to the left side of the mask's headband. Mouthpiece is comfortable. Mouthpiece and valves appear to be clear silicon rubber and should last many years.I have a US Divers mask purchased ten years ago and stored in a very less-than-ideal hot attic. The flexible clear silicon still works fine. Excellent, durable material.

Good set for price
I like this new improved material. We have ordered them in the past for the teens and this set I got for myself (MOM) is softer than theirs. I have only used it a few times in the pool, and for our purposes it is fine. It may be a snug fit for a large man, but it has adjustments! For pool use, and for teens or ladies, I'd definitely recommended it.
